RELEASE 18th SEPTEMBER
DINGLE DISTILLERY UNVEILS BOLD NEW BRAND IDENTITY AND LAUNCHES TWO LANDMARK EXPRESSIONS: DINGLE 10 YEAR OLD SINGLE MALT & DINGLE SINGLE POT STILL WHISKEY
Dingle, Co. Kerry, Ireland – Sept 18th, 2025

Dingle Distillery today announces an exciting new chapter in Irish whiskey with the unveiling of a refreshed brand identity and the release of two eagerly anticipated expressions: Dingle 10-Year-Old Single Malt and Dingle Single Pot Still Whiskey to sit alongside our existing core Dingle Single Malt.
Since opening its doors in 2012, Dingle has been driven by craft, pioneering Ireland’s modern craft distilling movement with patience, pride, and uncompromising quality. Every drop is triple distilled, matured, and bottled at the distillery in Dingle, Co. Kerry, reflecting the values of independence, community, and authenticity that define the brand.
The First 10-Year-Old Core Dingle Whiskey
The release of Dingle’s first 10-Year-Old Single Malt marks a major milestone for Irish whiskey. Matured in Bourbon, Port, and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, this non-chill-filtered whiskey (46.5% ABV) delivers a rich balance of fruit-forward character, bold oak influence, and refined complexity. It is the distillery’s first core 10-year-old release, a true symbol of time, perseverance, and craft.
Elliot Hughes, Managing Director of Dingle Distillery, said:
“We’ve always been well aware that great whiskey takes time. Releasing a 10-year-old single malt is a huge moment for us, not just because of the age, but because it proves the patience, pride, and perseverance of everyone at Dingle.”
- Nose: Rich waves of dark fruits and stewed plums
- Taste: Lusciously layered with ginger nut biscuit and decadent Black Forest gateau
- Finish: Smooth butterscotch, delicate orange blossom and evolving fruity spices
A Distinctive New Core Single Pot Still Whiskey
Joining the 10-year-old is the release of Dingle’s Single Pot Still Whiskey, the distillery’s first core pot still expression. Bottled non-chill-filtered at 46.5% ABV, it is crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple-distilled, and matured in a combination of Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry, Pedro Ximénez, and Red wine casks. The result is a full-bodied whiskey layered with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark fruits, and brown sugar on a velvety palate.
“Pot still whiskey has always been part of our plan,” Hughes added. “This release has something distinctive, but it will also appeal to traditional pot still drinkers. It’s an expression we’re very excited about.”
- Nose: Gentle baking spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice
- Taste: Velvety notes of cooked dark fruits, brown sugar, and spiced stewed apples
- Finish: Classic Pot Still spices evolving into toasted oak, soft honey and lingering note of nutmeg
A New Look, Rooted in Tradition
Alongside these landmark releases, Dingle is also unveiling a refreshed brand identity and packaging design, drawing inspiration from Dingle’s independent spirit and its deep connection to local culture. Inspired by the annual Wren’s Day celebrations in Dingle, a centuries-old tradition of colour, music, and community, the new packaging features bold colours and the silhouette of the town’s iconic “The Wren Boy,” symbolizing the distillery’s spirit of creativity and connection.
Niall O’Connor, Marketing Manager at Dingle Distillery, said:
“There’s a lot of pride in what The Wren’s Day represents for the community. With our new look, we wanted to capture that same sense of identity and togetherness, while showcasing the quality and distinctiveness of Dingle whiskey.”
