OVERVIEW

The Descendants Cask Programme gives individuals, groups, and businesses the opportunity to become one of only 100 ‘Descendants’ – cask owners in the 2022 Cask Edition.

Each cask will be filled with spirit that has been distilled exclusively in Dingle Distillery. As with all of our previous Cask Editions, the 2022 Edition will be hand-crafted to the exacting standards of our Master Distiller, Graham Coull. Plus, for the first time in Descendants history, in 2022 we are excited to add a Single Pot Still Edition as well as a Single Malt Edition. Descendants will have the choice to mature their spirit in Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry, or Palo Cortado casks over a minimum of an 8-year period.

As a Descendant, you will be sent a complimentary bottle of our Dingle Whiskey every year to enjoy while waiting for your personal whiskey to mature. In addition, you may request an annual sample of your cask to observe its evolution over time. We also extend an open invitation to you, as a Descendant, to visit and explore our distillery and warehouse at your leisure, and as often as you like.

Following eight years of maturation at our warehouse, Descendants will have a choice. You may opt to continue maturing your whiskey in its cask at our warehouse to achieve an older, more complex whiskey. Alternatively, you can choose to have it bottled onsite using our bottle and a label specific to the 2022 Cask Edition. This limited edition label will be adorned with the Descendant’s own name, group or business name for a truly personalised final product.

Ultimately, the final stage of the Descendants Programme 2022 Edition will be to sip, savour, and enjoy your whiskey. Whether you share it with friends and family, or gift it to corporate contacts, each bottle will represent a piece of your history, and glance back down the road you’ve travelled.
